I had no idea how many ways there are to enjoy a waffle. My personal favorite is the Belgian waffle. Soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, I love mine smothered in butter and drenched with maple syrup.

My personal favorite.

I’ve only ever had waffles for breakfast but it seems I’ve been missing out.

Waffles with fruit and cream make a light, refreshing breakfast or snack.

You can try adding strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or any kind of fruit you like. Add some sweet cream or french style yogurt and maybe sprinkle it with powdered sugar or crushed nuts.

You can even dip miniature waffles in your favorite coffee drink.

Many people eat waffles at dinner time. One of the most popular dishes prepared in the South is chicken and waffles. It might sound weird but this sweet and savory combination is truly exceptional.
